Oodai Canal starts from the Paravakadu at Lakshmipuram, to Mondaikadu (through karumankoodal, Naduvoorkarai,Manalivillai). In Olden days the Oodai provides irrigation facilities to the most parts of the village. It consists of so many feeder canals too.It was damaged because of floods and roads were constructed over the cannal. Now it was used as parking place for Vechicles during Mondaikad festival too.
